Nowadays we see lots of people mostly our young generation using smartphones, as they play games, chat with friends, watching movie, listen to music and busy to take selfies.
In this busy world no one have time, time is a money so everyone wants to save their time. Here mobile phone play very important role to save our time and money also. But it is act as a double-edged sword. On one hand, our mobile phone grants us the ability to use apps which can make us more organized, more reachable, and more well-versed. But on the other hand, it has made us increasingly dependent and lazy, actually making us less productive. Although it pays for incredible access to information and communication, it is also a tool that can be misused and abused by individuals of all ages. For instance, when doing homework, students don’t need to check a dictionary for new vocabulary. They can browse the internet promptly and get what they need. These are huge benefits that can help students with their studies. But on the other hand, most of the students try to search particular thing on internet and they get distracted and spend lot of their valuable time to check unwanted things which is happened with most of the students.
Unfortunately, people misuse this excellent technology. Every day we see people holding their phones no matter what they are doing and who they are with. Nowadays we see not only the young generation but people of all age groups busy taking selfies. The craze of taking selfies has increased so much that many young people even lose their lives due to it. Previously people have lunch with friends, they would like to chat with them in a relaxing atmosphere. But nowadays we see people just keep staring at their phones, playing games or checking out new apps. we need to make sure we do not become slaves to them.
A few decades ago, there were none of these distractions around. People might have used Mobil phone or any electronic gadgets for a short time after dinner. Yet soon they began eating with their phone or laptop or in front of the television and distancing themselves from the interaction between family members at a dinner table. Now it has become so bad that parents even inattention their children in favour of electronic amusement. Parents should set a limit on their children’s daily use of mobile phones and other electronic gadgets, otherwise excessive use of electronic devices can lead to health problems, inadequate sleep and poor exam performance.
Many people seem less and less willing to switch off even briefly.
